In today’s world, the internet has become an important part of everyday life.
Whether you use it for work, play, research, banking and bill paying, information gathering or to learn new skills, the internet plays a roll in your life.
Blogging has become a huge part of internet success.
Many people now write blogs on every topic you can imagine. Have you ever considered starting a blog? The very idea can be terrifying but if you have something to say a blog is one of the best ways to say it.
This 10 Part Blogging Series will take you through the various steps of starting a blog from beginner to “how not to fail”.

Blogging is hard work and it can be impossibly difficult to figure out the workings of everything behind the scenes. I’m still learning.
I started my blog, (Living on a Blog), last year and when I started I didn’t even know what a blog was or why you’d ever want to write one.

Over the last decade, blogging has become one of the most prominent aspects of the internet.
What started out as a way for companies to give dated posts about their activities expanded to people using blogging platforms as a way to write a personal diary.
Now, today’s media, including large publications, corporations, and small business, almost every company has a website with a blog.
Blogs are used to share information about the company, it’s partners, services offered or to showcase all aspects of their business.
Blogging is big business in today’s cyber market to share information and knowledge.
‘Weblogs’, as they were originally called, are a perfect way for people to put their content on the internet in a way that is easy for visitors to read but is also simple for the author to publish.
Bloggers all over the world are being paid big bucks for their services as many companies and individuals alike are realizing the power that a great personality in front of a keyboard.
There is still much power in the written word.
The blogging format means that readers are easily updated with the latest information whether the blog format is to display news or is to showcase a personal diary or your recipe book.
Earning from a Blog
Blogging is an effective way of publishing that has become popular as a fast and easy way to gather or share information. The popularity and success of blogs have fast become a way of earning income. Blogging is something that you can do for fun, just to earn a little extra spending money or to replace your full-time job income.
There is now something called “BlogFlipping” where you buy a failing blog and turn it into something successful.
Popular blogs have been sold to large media conglomerates for millions of dollars and it is also the case that a popular blogger in a certain niche can influence vast quantities of people.
The blogging platforms that are available for publishing blogs are expanding – as are the number of blogs available on the internet. In fact, some of the most visited websites in the world are blogs.
Great Sharing Platform
A blog is a great way for you to easily communicate with your readers in a way that allows any creator – whether they are technologically savvy or not – to get their content online for all to see.
Blogging doesn’t have to be a diary and it doesn’t even have to just be text. You can show off your performances if you’re a musician, your art is you’re a painter or photos if you’re a photographer – and you can showcase training or informational video clips, or to learn something new.
Who Reads Blogs
Blogging truly is for everyone that has something to tell, sell, share or teach others. Everyone knows something and many want to know what you know and blogging is the best platform to share it.
Blogging could be your new career.
Write a list of all the things you are passionate about or very knowledgeable about. (Niche)
Think of things that you could teach to others to help them solve a problem or learn a new skill.
Jot down a few words regarding what you do for each one in order to teach it to someone else. You will be surprised at what you know when you start thinking about it.
You don’t have to be a writer as long as you can put together a sentence to teach someone else all the wonderful things you know.
The sky really is the limit.
